Heidi Nealey is a board-certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of nursing experience, with a focus on the acute care inpatient setting, providing care to adults, adolescents, and their families. Her credentials include a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Post-MSN PMHNP certification, and board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).

Heidi's expertise is dedicated to the care of adults aged 18-50, specializing in geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and their families spanning various healthcare domains, including psychiatric and addiction treatment within inpatient acute care settings, consultation services, and academic environments. Her expertise spans diverse healthcare domains and positions such as, Director of Nursing, management, supervisor, case manager, direct patient care RN, and educator and includes consultative services, comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and treatment with integrative services in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy). In addition, Heidi has over 13 years of experience teaching in both the academic and clinical settings as an Adjunct Professor in mental health, pediatric, and med-surg nursing.

Heidi’s outpatient experience includes both Veteran and Civilian Psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. Her government experience includes the following: Case Manager at the Wounded Warrior Program, Case Manager at the Warrior Transition Unit, and Nursing Director of a Pediatric Outpatient Clinic. She is licensed to operate in DC, VA and MD. She holds Bachelor of Science (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Nursing Administration from George Mason University and PMHNP-BC certification and Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University.
